I created this piece while I was studying women in art, in college. I am not sure if I would say it is a feminist piece but it is certainly a women centered painting about feminine power and overcoming struggles and obstacles that are particular to women in this world. A modern day, contemporary, ordinary Goddess, Piece of Art. So often, what women go through and struggle with, in America, and all misogynistic cultures, is the desire of others (generally but not always, men) to control the uterus. Because of this constant conflict, a Women's road through life always deals with this, even if only in subtle ways.

In this painting the fluffy pink panty line merges into a cloud filled sky at the top, making the women, abstractly and symbolically become the sky while the bottom half is entirely grounded and secure. Get this original art while you can. Layaway is also available.

Talavera designs originally come from Spain but today most of the designs are from Mexican villages. They make extraordinary accents, table tops, counters and pretty much anything you can think of to put tiles. They are individually hand made and hand painted and you can find a range of styles and colors to spice up any decor.

edible Lawns - Make your dog and your yard smell nice.

I came across this accidentally when I was playing with my dog and she ran through some sage in my garden and came out smelling like sage. Sage isn't the best thing to smell like but it gave me an idea. Why not plant nice smelling herbs instead of grass? when you, your guests, your kids, and even your pets walk through it they start to release the scents. Herbs and other grownd covers are far more interesting than plan old boring grass and are just as easy, if not easier to care for. And you can even cook with them it if you like. In addition there are many varieties that produce small low lying colorful little flowers and that have colorful leaves.

What I suggest:

Cats go crazy for this so if you don't want cats hanging around then don't use.
