edible Lawns - Make your dog and your yard smell nice.

I came across this accidentally when I was playing with my dog and she ran through some sage in my garden and came out smelling like sage. Sage isn't the best thing to smell like but it gave me an idea. Why not plant nice smelling herbs instead of grass? when you, your guests, your kids, and even your pets walk through it they start to release the scents. Herbs and other grownd covers are far more interesting than plan old boring grass and are just as easy, if not easier to care for. And you can even cook with them it if you like. In addition there are many varieties that produce small low lying colorful little flowers and that have colorful leaves.

What I suggest:

Cats go crazy for this so if you don't want cats hanging around then don't use.
